Ozarks Community Hospital in Gravette, AR is seeking a full-time Pharmacist to join our Team.
About the Role: Under the supervision of the Pharmacist in Charge, the Pharmacist provides patient-centered pharmaceutical care in an accurate, timely, and courteous manner. This role plays a critical part in ensuring safe, effective, and evidence-based medication practices that improve patient outcomes across the continuum of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical care to hospitalized patients, ensuring appropriate medication selection, dosing, and monitoring.
- Participate in all areas of the Medication Management process.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize therapeutic outcomes and promote patient safety.
- Provide clinical consultation, drug information, and education to medical staff and patients as needed.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state and federal regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Support and help maintain 340B program compliance and optimization (experience with 340B is a plus).
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree.
- Current and unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in Arkansas.
- Previous hospital or inpatient pharmacy experience preferred.
Schedule
- Flexible 10–12 hour day shifts in a collaborative, team-oriented hospital environment.
